BSI Top10: Vietnam Social Media Rankings for October 2024

The BSI Top 10 Rankings are trusted, high-quality, and consistently updated, offering a clear snapshot of social media performance. Compiled by Buzzmetrics using the Buzzmetrics Social Index Top 10, this ranking evaluates campaigns, influencers, events, and programs across social media platforms and online news outlets.

For October 2024, the BSI Top 10 Rankings highlight the Top 10 Campaigns, Top 10 Celebrities, Top 10 Events, and Top 10 Programs between October 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024.

Updated with the 2023 version of the BSI Index, the methodology now includes two new metrics: Diversity Score and Audience Score. These additions complement the five criteria from the 2021 version, providing a more in-depth evaluation of the success of campaigns, events, and programs on social media. The BSI Index balances multiple key factors, where any change in one element can significantly impact the rankings. As of January 2023, the rankings fully incorporate the Diversity Score and Audience Score, ensuring a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of social media performance.

Top 10 Most Outstanding Social Media Campaigns in October 2024

Making it to this month’s BSI Top 10 Campaigns Rankings are: OMO with Vien giat OMO Doa hoa diu dang - Gu qua nang ung; NAN with Giai ma cong nghe sua mat Thuy Si NAN &  S-26; Maggi with Maggi Local Ingredients; Tiger Beer with Bat lon Tiger, nang qua bong vang 1 ty and Tiger Cool Pack 250ml; Lavie with Yen cung thien nhien; Heineken with Ngum dau chi co the la Heineken; Vinamilk Sữa Ông Thọ with Nha hang to long; Samsung with Galaxy S24 FE; and S-26 Ultima with Be Nhanh, Me Nhay. These campaigns showcase the power of strategic creativity and resonate strongly with audiences across social media platforms.

  • Samsung’s “Galaxy S24 FE” campaign promoted its latest smartphone with the help of tech-centric pages such as Galaxy Fans Vietnam, Tony Phùng Studio, Techz.vn, and Techrum.vn, alongside major retailers like Viettel Store and CellphoneS.
  • S-26 Ultima’s “Be Nhanh, Me Nhay” campaign highlighted the benefits of its formula milk through discussions led by doctors and maternal health experts. The brand also hosted puzzle-solving minigames to educate users on the unique features of S-26 Ultima.These campaigns not only showcase innovative marketing strategies but also demonstrate their ability to create meaningful connections with audiences, driving conversations and engagement across social platforms.

Top 10 Most Influential Figures on Social Media in October 2024

The October 2024 BSI Top10 Influencers rankings mark the notable return of SOOBIN after a five-year hiatus. Despite their show concluding some time ago, the cast of Anh Trai Say Hi continues to maintain a strong presence on social media, including names like Quang Hùng MasterD, HIEUTHUHAI, Dương Domic, Rhyder, Quân AP, Pháp Kiều, and JSOL. Sơn Tùng M-TP, while not very active on social platforms, still secured a spot on the list. Additionally, Lê Dương Bảo Lâm impressively extended his streak by maintaining the #2 position for several consecutive months. 

  • Quang Hung MasterD has reached the top spot in the October 2024 BSI Top10 Influencers ranking for the first time. His standout event of the month was The 1st Fan Meeting in Vietnam 2024, where his humorous interactions with Lê Dương Bảo Lâm went viral on TikTok. At the end of the month, Quang Hùng further thrilled his fans by announcing a Day-3 event in Hanoi. He was also warmly welcomed by fans at the Day 2 concert of Anh Trai Say Hi, the Lớp Học Đáp Vui stage in Tiền Giang, and the SiuKay Halloween festival hosted by Acecook.
  • Le Duong Bao Lam remained highly active in October, participating in 2 Ngày 1 Đêm and Quang Hùng MasterD's fan meeting. Duong Len Dinh Olympia, Vietnam's long-standing intellectual competition, surprisingly ranked third with its exciting finale. Additionally, this month's Top 10 Shows ranking also features 2 Ngay 1 Dem, Bai Hat Cua Chung Ta - Our Song Vietnam, Chi Dep Dap Gio 2024, Đảo Thiên Đường, Mái Ấm Gia Đình Việt, Shark Tank Vietnam Season 7, and Nữ Hoàng Vũ Đạo Đường Phố.
